On this day 12 months ago [11/01/20] Fairwater First XV entertained Aberavon Green Stars RFC in a WRU Bowl Cup quarter final match, unbeknown to us all, this was to be their last home game of 2020,

With a man of the match performance by Tom McAloon with a try and conversion in the first half and two penalty’s in the second he scored all of Fairwater’s points in a well deserved 13-3 win,

Fairwater would have played Aberaeron RFC in the semi-final at the natural venue of Loughor RFC.
